AMSOIL 10W-50 Metric Synthetic Motorcycle Oil is a premium-grade lubricant engineered specifically for motorcycle engines. It is designed to support high-RPM engines and wet-clutch systems and can withstand the extreme pressure placed on motorcycle transmissions.
This oil has been proven to outperform conventional oils as well as other synthetic motorcycle engine oils available on the market.

AMSOIL 10W-50 Metric is engineered to maintain excellent protection under extremely high temperatures (see performance chart below). It forms a strong protective film and is fortified with premium anti-wear additives to ensure engine protection under all riding conditions.
It prevents sludge and carbon buildup, helping to keep the engine clean and enhancing performance across the board.
2. Maximum Gear Protection Under Extreme Pressure
No need for separate gear oil — AMSOIL 10W-50 Metric provides excellent transmission lubrication and can withstand high pressure loads.
In the FZG Gear Test, it received a perfect score (zero wear), confirming its outstanding wear protection under stress.
3. Excellent Rust Protection
Motorcycles are particularly vulnerable to rust due to environmental moisture. Rust can cause severe engine damage, including increased wear and loss of cylinder compression.
Most conventional oils do not offer adequate rust protection, but AMSOIL 10W-50 Metric includes advanced rust inhibitors and has passed the ASTM D-1748 rust test (refer to Technical Data table).

⚠️ Not recommended for applications requiring API GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil.
Compatibility with Other Oils
AMSOIL 10W-50 Metric is compatible with other synthetic and conventional engine oils. However, mixing with other oils reduces performance and shortens oil life.
AMSOIL does not guarantee extended drain intervals if used in combination with other oils, and does not recommend the use of aftermarket oil additives.
Service Life
