AMSOIL DOMINATOR® 5W-20 Synthetic Racing Oil is specifically engineered for high-performance racing engines. It delivers maximum performance and protection under extreme racing conditions — including high operating temperatures, high RPMs, and shock-loading, all of which are typical in competitive environments.

Maximum Wear Protection
Racing engines are typically modified to produce higher horsepower and greater speeds than standard engines. These modified engines generate increased shear forces, which can cause viscosity breakdown. When viscosity breaks down, it leads to inadequate lubrication, increasing wear on bearings, cylinders, and other engine components.
AMSOIL DOMINATOR® 5W-20 is formulated to resist viscosity loss due to shear, maintaining a strong oil film that protects the engine. The formula includes high levels of anti-wear additives like zinc and phosphorus to prevent scuffing and metal-to-metal contact during intense racing conditions.
