Compatibility with Other Oils

AMSOIL Signature Series is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. However, mixing with other oils reduces its performance and lifespan. AMSOIL does not recommend extended drain intervals in such cases and advises against using any oil additives or aftermarket treatments.

Service Life

AMSOIL guarantees the following service life for gasoline engines:

• Normal Service – Up to 40,000 km (25,000 miles) or 1 year, whichever comes first

• Severe Service – Up to 24,000 km (15,000 miles) or 1 year, whichever comes first

For non-gasoline engines, service intervals depend on oil properties and manufacturer recommendations.

Severe Service Conditions Include:

• Short trips under 16 km (10 miles)

• Turbocharged engines

• Fleet vehicles or frequent commercial use

• Heavy traffic or stop-and-go driving

• First-time use of AMSOIL in vehicles over 160,000 km without engine flush

• Frequent towing

• Driving in dusty environments

Caution

Extended drain intervals are not recommended for modified engines or vehicles using E85 fuel. In such cases, follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended oil change interval.
