When this ethanol\/water mixture is pulled into the engine, it creates a lean-burn situation that increases combustion-chamber temperatures and can lead to engine damage. Quickshot is designed to keep water dispersed throughout the fuel tank, moving it out as a normal part of operation and decreasing the chance of ethanol separating from the gasoline.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1743\">Quickshot was tested in fuel containing 10% ethanol. Controlled plugging of injectors showed a 70% flow improvement, while oxidation stability improved 44% over untreated fuel.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1750\"><strong>Water<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"2180\">Water finds its way into fuel tanks through gas pumps and environmental conditions like condensation. It causes hard starting, performance degradation and corrosion problems if left untreated. By keeping water dispersed in tiny molecules and safely moving it out of the tank through the combustion chamber, Quickshot helps maintain engine performance and protect against damaging corrosion.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2182\" data-end=\"2196\"><strong>Dirty Gasoline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2832\">Dirty gasoline causes fuel-system gumming and varnish, as well as piston and combustion-chamber deposits. All gasoline sold in the U.S. is formulated with a lowest additive concentration (LAC) of detergents, but these minimal detergent requirements are not enough to prevent deposits from building up on critical fuel-system components. Quickshot contains unique chemistry that quickly detaches and carries away deposits to help prevent buildup in fuel systems, injectors and carburetors, while also cleaning hard-to-remove deposits on piston tops, spark plugs and other combustion-chamber parts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA block-font-kerning-none block-font-feature-liga-off block-font-feature-clig-off block-font-feature-calt-off direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">APPLICATIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2136\">Use Quickshot (AQS) in all two- and four-stroke gasoline-powered engines, including motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, personal watercraft, ATVs, edgers, tillers, mowers, snowblowers, chainsaws, generators and farm and construction equipment.
