AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic 4-Stroke Marine Oil is specially formulated for marine engines, providing outstanding wear protection, excellent viscosity stability, low volatility, and superior rust prevention. It is certified by NMMA FC-W and Warranty Certified for use in 4-stroke outboard engines, inboard engines, and general marine engines.

Note: AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic 4-Stroke Marine Oil can be used as a direct replacement for Honda® 5W-40 engine oil.
Service Life

Outboard & general marine engines: Change oil according to the engine manufacturer’s recommendations due to potential water contamination and oil dilution.

Inboard & I/O 4-stroke engines: Provides up to 2x the manufacturer’s recommended oil change interval or 1 year (whichever comes first).
Compatibility with Other Oils
AMSOIL 4-Stroke Synthetic Marine Oil is compatible with conventional and other synthetic motor oils. However, mixing oils reduces the performance and extended-drain benefits of AMSOIL oil. AMSOIL does not recommend the use of aftermarket oil additives with this product.
