AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATL) is specifically designed for modern automatic transmissions in vehicles from GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and more. It provides outstanding protection and performance and is recommended for transmissions requiring specifications such as GM DEXRON® VI, Ford MERCON® LV and SP, Honda DW-1, Nissan Matic-S, and Toyota WS.

Automatic transmissions in cars, trucks, and vans generate significant heat under heavy loads. Increased heat accelerates fluid degradation, leading to metal-to-metal wear, sludge, and deposit formation. These issues are especially critical for modern transmissions, which have narrower fluid passages, more gears, and clutch packs that demand high-quality, clean fluid for optimal performance and extended service life.

Compatibility with Other ATFs

AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic ATF (ATL) can replace fluids meeting DEXRON® II specifications in older GM automatic transmissions (DEXRON® VI fully supersedes DEXRON® III).

Service Life

• Normal service: Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended drain interval.

• Severe service: Can be used for up to twice the OEM drain interval under severe conditions.
