Compatibility with Other Oils

AMSOIL Signature Series Max-Duty is compatible with both synthetic and conventional oils. However, mixing with other oils may reduce its performance and shorten its service life. AMSOIL does not guarantee extended drain intervals when mixed with other oils. The use of aftermarket oil additives is also not recommended.

Service Life

AMSOIL Signature Series Max-Duty Synthetic Diesel Oil allows for extended drain intervals, depending on the engine type:

• Diesel Engines: Up to 3x the OEM-recommended interval, not exceeding 60,000 miles (90,000 km), 600 hours, or 1 year

• Turbocharged Diesel Engines: Up to 2x the OEM-recommended interval, not exceeding 25,000 miles (40,000 km) or 1 year

• Gasoline Engines: Up to 2x the OEM-recommended interval, not exceeding 15,000 miles (22,500 km) or 1 year

Important Notes

Extended drain intervals are not recommended for:

• Engines running more than 10% biodiesel (B10), ethanol, or biodiesel blends above 15% (B15)

• Caterpillar C13/C15 (model years 2007–2009)

• Dodge, Ford, and GM turbo diesel engines (model years 2007–2010)
